Champion Parallel Kit for 92001i-EU Mighty Atom Models Champion Parallel Kit for 92001i-EU Mighty Atom Models Champion Parallel Kit for 92001i-EU Mighty Atom Models Champion Parallel Kit for 92001i-EU Mighty Atom Models

This newly designed kit is intended for the use with Champion Power Equipment inverters 92001i-EU, ideally should be used with at least one inverter 92001i and(or) combination of the any other Champion inverter with the feature of the square paralink sockets.

The total output of this kit will depend on the size of the inverters connected to it. The maximum output of the parallel kit is the total amperage of 28A across two sockets or the rated amperage of each socket up to 16A.

This model is designed for 230V EU market, it allows any Champion inverter model 92001i-EU to be connected up in parallel to create an increase in continuous power of up to 95% of the combined running watts. The control box construction is IP54 protected with 2 x 230V 16A 2 pin schuko sockets & connection leads to allow easy tool free connection using the paralink socket.

With a dual clip design it will allow the two generators to be positioned horizontally in V formation securely whilst running.

Champion’s Parallel Kits increases your power by connecting two ParaLINK ready inverters. These kits are perfect for when you want the flexibility of using a lightweight on the go inverter to power a few appliances but also want the capability to connect two lightweight and ultra-quiet inverters to get the power of a larger unit when you need it.

WARNING

When paralleling always configure generators in a 'V' formation with both exhaust mufflers pointing the same direction away from the control box, leads and each other.

This kit can be used with these models:

  • 92001i-EU
  • 92001i-DF-EU

Starting vs Max vs Running Watts

Most motor-driven products that you will connect to your generator need extra watts when they start, this is known as starting watts.

The Starting Watts listed on your generator is the wattage the generator can output for an average of 6 seconds (Inverter) or 10 minutes (Open Frame Type).

Once this period is over, and if the wattage has not reduced the Overload Protection will activate and the generator will trip using the following methods circuit breaker (frame type) and flashing overload light (Inverter), if this happens the power (wattage) needs to reduced or disconnected immediately and the generator needs to be reset by stopping the generator and turning everything to the ‘OFF’ position and leaving for minimum 2 minutes (Inverter Only).

The Maximum Watts listed on your generator is the MAX watts output the generator can run at – however it is not recommended to run your generator at the  maximum watts for periods more than average 5 minutes (Inverter) and 60 minutes (Open Frame Type). Once this period is over, and if the wattage has not reduced the Overload Protection will activate and the generator will trip using the following methods circuit breaker (frame type) and flashing overload light (Inverter), if this happens the power (wattage) needs to reduced or disconnected immediately and the generator needs to be reset by stopping the generator and turning everything to the ‘OFF’ position and leaving for minimum 2 minutes. While working in the max zone on an Inverter you will have solid red overload light this is normal.
